Obituary of Janice Marie Jorgensen

Janice “Jan” Jorgensen (Nelson) of Bloomington MN, passed away peacefully with family at her side on February 12, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great- grandmother and a great friend to many. She will be missed dearly.

Jan was the ultimate example of perseverance. She will be remembered always as being kind, loving, loyal and always wanting to make everyone smile and feel good.

Jan was born April 10,1945 to Melvin and Judy Henderson in Montevideo Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Judy Henderson, sister Dorothy Olson, and brother in- law, David Olson.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd “Buzz” Jorgensen, children: Stacy Nelson (Barb), Chad Nelson (Lisa) grandchildren Josh, Samantha, Scotty, Sally and Kyle, great grandchildren: Adalynn, Brooklyn, Madelyn, Fox, and Lou. Sibling: Russ (Lynette) Henderson, nieces: Natalie Olson, Jennifer Tessier, and nephew Matt Henderson.

A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held Saturday March 16, 2024 from 3:30 to 8:00pm at Bloomington Eagles Aerie Club #3208, 9152 Old Cedar Avenue South, Bloomington Minnesota, 55425.
