Janice, Jan, Ma, Mom, you are my Hero, I LOVE YOU! I already miss you and even tried to call you. Your legacy and impact will live on in me forever. You are my best example of perseverance, and I always look to you for guidance as you have taught me so much, whether intentional or unintentional, in how you lived each day. I always say, my mom gets smarter each day I get older.
You were always open and caring to others, whether someone needed help, a warm coat, a place to stay, or something to eat. You always looked for ways to help people smile and feel better about whatever challenge they might have. This did not go unnoticed, and I am so very proud to be your son!
You blessed me by sharing your experiences and demonstrating your “can do” attitude and your superior work ethic no matter the situation. You showed this yet again when you were diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. You basically just said LET’S GO and approached it head on with the plan of beating it.
As I have said many times, all that I want for my kids is to be caring polite people with a strong work ethic and common sense. This is what you are. You always will be my Hero. I LOVE YOU! I will see you later, Stac
