We are so sorry to hear of Elizabeth's passing. She welcomed our family at the cabin in Cumberland when we were complete strangers. She was very easygoing and had a wonderful loving and calm character she transmitted to everyone around her. We especially remember how good she was at making puzzles and playing cards. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joyce. She was a friend of mine at the University of Minnesota. We were classmates in the Education dept. She had such a calm and warm demeanor. I will always be grateful to her for giving me her mother-in-laws spaghetti sauce recipe which I have made from that day on. My family has it too. Her legacy will live on. Pat Druin Canter
