Obituary of Kristine JoAnn Teig

Kristine JoAnn Teig, more commonly known as Kris, passed away on February 19, 2022 at Region’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Kris was born on September 2, 1951 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was 70 years old at the time of her passing.

She attended Bemidji State University. She had a great interest in photography. She was a thoughtful gift giver. One of the biggest gifts that she gave to others was prayer. She had a deep belief in the power of prayer and would often pray for others. Kris struggled with her health for many years but did not let those struggles stop her. In fact, they strengthened her faith in Jesus Christ and allowed her to grow a deeper devotion to her Savior.

Kris is survived by her sister, Barbara Ann Teig of Brighton, Michigan, her brother Boyd William (Terri) Teig of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, her nephew Jason Boyd (Whitney) Teig of Waite Park, Minnesota and her niece Melissa Marie Teig (Shane Leblanc) of Anoka. She is also survived by her beloved great nieces and nephews, Julia Rose Teig, David Boyd Teig, Allison Mae Leblanc, Jason Michael Teig, Emma Mae Teig, AnnMarie Erica Teig, Whitney Elizabeth Teig and Lillian Noelle Teig. 

She is preceded in death by her niece, Erica Ann Teig, her brother, Henry Boyd Teig Junior, her parents, AnnaMae Teig and Henry Boyd Teig, her grandparents Josephine Mabel Teig, Olaus Palsson Teig, Edward Henry Ziegler, Anna Rosina Magdalena Ziegler and  by her aunts and uncles.

Her memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at North Heights Lutheran Church in Roseville at 2701 North Rice Street. There will be a visitation starting at 1:00PM before the service and light refreshments to follow the service.
