Obituary of John Thomas Allison

John Thomas Allison, III passed away June 4, 2015. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. John was a retired accountant and was a veteran of the US Navy, having served during WWII. He was a member of the Shriners and Masons. John loved working crosswords and reading. He enjoyed playing cards and visiting with his grandkids and great-grandkids. John was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Allison Jr. and Gladys Rissman Allison and son, John Thomas Allison IV. He is survived by his daughter, Jean (Bob) of Glencoe, MN; son, Michael (Kathy) of Zimmerman, MN; sisters, Norma Branch and Faye Thallman and brother, Eugene. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and special friend, Carol Hendricks. There will be a graveside service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 9th at 2 PM.
