Obituary of Deborah Kay Merrill

Deborah Kay Merrill, age 63, of Minnetonka, passed peacefully into eternal life on June 12th, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Deborah joins her father Richard A. Vincent in heaven. Deborah's light and love will forever be missed by daughters, Rhea (John) Merrill-Raben and Autumn (Erik) Garrity. Her loving nature will live on in the hearts of her beloved grandchildren, Montgomery & Aaliyah. Deborah's memory will forever be cherished by mother, JoAnne (Rudolph) Wilson; sisters, Natalie (Chris) Enger and Maudie (Randy) Russ; brothers, Edwin (Mai) Forster and Joseph (Sue) Forster, along with her nieces and nephews. Deborah dedicated her life's work to at-risk youth and those who suffered from addiction. Deborah was an avid gardener and lover of nature, always caring for an injured animal or flower. Fulfilling Deborah's wishes, a private family service will follow on Madeline Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer or Audubon Societies.
