Obituary of Kimiyo Meyer

Age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on June 23, 2015. Kimiyo was a very active world traveler. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, gardening and cooking. Kimiyo also stayed involved in the Japanese Group, Nikkei Project. Preceded in death by husband, James Meyer; son, Lester Forrester; brother, Tadao and Tadaomi Yamanoi; sister, Yoshie Ouno. Survived by children, Karen Meyer, Kathy (Michael) Hawk, Jeanette Forrester and Daniel (Taigi) Forrester; grandchildren, Eva and Vivian Hawk, Savannah, Kimi and Amber Forrester; brother, Takeo (Kazuko) Yamanoi. Private graveside service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
