Obituary of Dennis C. Theis

Theis, Dennis C. died June 25th at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Ann, brothers David and Mark, sisters-in-law Lavon and Darlene, nieces and nephews . He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Pat and brother Don. Denny has fought many battles together with the staff at the University of Minnesota Hospital. We thank the staff for their compassion and expertise. This last battle was too much for him. Denny graduated from St John's University with a Bachelor's of Science degree, School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery and from the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota with a Master's degree in Maxillo Facial Radiology. He is a member of PSI Omega fraternity and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. During his life he was a strong supporter of St. John's University, University of Minnesota Foundation and Minnesota Medical Foundation. . He enjoyed teaching and was much appreciated and loved by his dental students. Denny was looking forward to finally go fishing with his friends this summer. We will celebrate the life of this extraordinary, kind, caring human being July 19th , 3 pm on the fourth floor of 110 1st Ave. NE, Minneapolis MN 55413.
