Obituary of George Myers

Myers, George Sr. 67, died suddenly in his sleep Thursday, July 23, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, George Jr. (Angie), John (Leigh) and Eric; daughters, Kim (Jermaine), Becky (Trevor) and 8 granddaughters. Mr. Myers was the chief engineer for hotel Sofitel in Toledo, OH and in Bloomington, MN. After 1988 he also worked as chief engineer for several management companies until retiring in 2013. Mr. Myers loved working with computers, playing golf and working with his hands. Shortly before his death he finished building a custom playset for his granddaughters, which he was so proud of. George was a fun-loving, big hearted man who will be missed terribly by all. Funeral service 11 am Wednesday, July 29th at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S., Edina, MN 55435 (952)924-4100. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Visitation Tuesday, July 28th from 5-8 PM at the Cremation Society of MN, Edina.
