Obituary of Thomas Hammer

Age 63 of Maple Grove, passed away on August 24, 2015 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Tom loved socializing with anyone and everyone, and had a passion for the MN Vikings, hunting, fishing, and MGD. Proud member of Teamsters, local union #120 and 27 year employee of Blue Linx. Preceded in death by father, Thomas G. Hammer. Survived by wife Sandy; children, Sherri (Ryan) Lieske, Sheila (Shane) Odden, Jon (Tammy) Hammer, Jamie Hammer; step-children, Amber Phoenix and Michael McCurdy; grandchildren, Dominic, Zac, Aiden; mother, Marjorie; siblings, Kathy Lonsky, John (Barb) Hammer; 3 nephews and many friends. Tom’s celebration will be held at Wild Bill’s Maple Grove on Tuesday, September 1st from 1-5PM.
