Obituary of Richard W. Bennett

Richard W. Bennett, 86, of Duluth, passed away at home surrounded by his family. Richard was born in Duluth, June 23, 1929 to the late Lawrence and Alice Bennett. After graduating from Denfeld High School Richard joined the United States Navy serving in Seabees. Richard worked for the DM&IR Railroad for 38 years retiring in 1989. He is preceded in death by one sister Arlette Walters; one brother, Lawrence (Buzz) Bennett; one nephew Michael Bennett; in-laws Glenn (Myrtle) Cary and Helen Cary. Those who loved and shared his life are: his wife Glenna; four sons: Bruce (Debra), Gary (Sandy), Wade, Ross Bennett; one brother Robert (Betty) Bennett; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. At Richards request no services will be held.
