Obituary of Leslie L. Parvey
Leslie L. (Warriner) Parvey, a lifelong Superior resident died Sept. 10, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Leslie was born to Guy and Bonita (Teschendorf) Warriner on Aug. 2, 1959.
She graduated from Superior Senior High in 1977 and attended Wisconsin Indianhead Technical Institute.
Leslie was employed as a supervisor by Goodwill Industries of Duluth.
Leslie liked to camp, fish, garden and gamble with her life long partner, Wayne Parvey.
She attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church (n/k/a Hope Community Church) in Superior. Leslie had a heart for the lost souls of this world and her hope was that all be saved through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Leslie is survived by three daughters, Jennifer (Mitch) Rothschadl, Eagan, Minn., Jasmine (James) Werner, St. Paul, Minn. and Francezca Zeppa, Duluth; one son, Joshua Warriner, Superior; and grandchildren Veronica and Chandlar Rothschadl. She is also survived by four sisters, Lana (Rowland) Archer, Rita (Joe) Johnson, Suzanne (Jim) Hodges, Denise (Loren) Byberg; two brothers Guy (Lisa) Warriner and Patrick (Jessica Morin) Higgins; her partner, Wayne Parvey; and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Visitation: 12 Noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the Hope Community Church in Superior, with Rev. Stephen Grunlan officiating.
