Obituary of Robert DeVille

Robert “Bob” John DeVille, age 74, of Shakopee, MN, formerly of Watertown, SD passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at St. Francis Regional Hospital in Shakopee, MN. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the MN Cremation Society in Edina. Robert “Bob” John DeVille, the son of John and Ranelda (Kranz) DeVille, was born on April 3, 1941 in Watertown, SD. He grew up in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School in 1959. Bob joined the U.S. Navy June 17, 1958. He was honorably discharged March 1, 1962 and returned to Watertown. He worked for the railroad before starting the Villa Supper Club in Watertown. Over the next several years Bob worked in the automotive industry selling and purchasing cars living in St. Croix Falls, WI and eventually moving to the Twin Cities area where Bob and his wife Bev had their son Patrick. Bob truly enjoyed sharing special time hunting, fishing and socializing with family and friends and had a wicked sense of humor. Bob is survived by his son, Todd (Justine) and grandchildren Haylee, Benjamin, Reese of Watertown, SD; son Patrick of Shakopee, MN; grandchildren Danielle, Jordan and their mother Michele DeVille of Minneapolis; his brother Dennis (Roylene) of Watertown, SD; his brother Todd of St. Louis, MO; his sister Cheri (Bruce) Johnson of Stilwell, KS; nieces and nephews Cari, Daniel, Ty, Alex and Madison. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly DeVille; mother and father, John and Ranelda DeVille; son, Scott DeVille; sister, Patti DeVille.
