Obituary of Elizabeth Cass

Elizabeth "Ann" Cass passed away peacefully on September 18, 2015; three months shy of her 94th birthday. Formerly of Bella Vista, AK and Beatrice, NE, since 2008 Ann had made her home in Minnetonka. Preceded in death by her husband Ed, sister Norma Jean Cass, and brothers Robert Gillham, Don Gillham and Bill Gillham. She is survived by her sisters LauRene Foster, Nelva Babbitt and brother Tom Gillham; daughter Beth Schneider (Terry) Minnetonka, MN, and sons Richard (Jody), Douglas (Theresa), Dennis (Kim); 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. The family offers a special thank you to the Memory Care Unit staff at the Golden Living Center in St. Louis Park. Through their extraordinary care, Ann remained healthy and retained her thoughtful and joyful personality. The family plans a spring reunion to celebrate her life. Memorials preferred to Christ Presbyterian Church of Edina.
