Obituary of Linda Stambaugh

Linda (Sherburne) Stambaugh, 67, of Mpls. passed away peacefully September 29, 2015. Linda's most cherished possession was her family. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and shopping at Savers. Doing what she loved best, she spent 30 years waitressing at Basil's restaurant at the Marquette Hotel always brightening the day for others. Linda was a kind and generous soul, who will forever be missed. She is survived by her daughter Lindsay Stambaugh (Terry Westerman), granddaughters Alyssa and Jordan, her pal Roady, as well as her brothers Bill, Mike and David Konetski; sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Jean Konetski, father Oralle Sherburne, brother Oralle (Butch) Sherburne and her lifelong friend Patty (Sly) Sandoval. A heartfelt thank you to Jeanne Cass, who has been by Linda's side during these last months bringing joy and laughter to her. Visitation will be from 10-11 am and Service will follow on Saturday, October 3rd at the Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Avenue South, Mpls, MN 55409.
