Obituary of Violet E. Hagberg

Violet E. Hagberg Age 96. Beloved wife of Richard Hagberg for 71 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully October 13, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Larry) Busch and Marietta (Steve) Rice; son, Rolf (Carrie Plamann); grandchildren, Lisa (Ryan) McCamy, Rachel (David) Weisberger, Kyla Rice (Ben Bursell), Joel (Jara) Rice, Josh (Joddie) Plamann, Emily (Mark) Jansen and Rachel (Nate) Wyant; eleven great-grandchildren. Born in Mpls., Violet worked at Republic Airlines (later became Northwest/Delta) for 22 years. She was an organist and deaconess at Ford Parkway Baptist Church. Violet taught piano and also accompanied Richard (soloist) for many church celebrations wherever they lived. She traveled the world with family and friends. Her life was a witness for love and faith. Celebration of Life Saturday, October 17 at 3 PM preceded by visitation at 2 PM at Inver Glen Senior Living, 7260 South Robert Trail, Inver Grove Heights, MN. Memorials preferred to “Keys 4/4 Kids” or “Second Harvest Heartland.” Both are non-profit organizations located in St. Paul, MN.
