Obituary of Lanis Hanson

Hanson, Lanis (Jo) Age 88, of Burnsville, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2015. Preceded in death by husband Ellis, infant brother, brother Gail Niceswanger, and parents Laura and Neal Niceswanger. Jo led a modest and meaningful life, devoted to family, friends, and faith. She was a long-time, dedicated volunteer at Fairview Ridges Hospital, and Prince of Peace Mission Outpost, a dedicated supporter of her grandchildren's activities, and led an active life as long as her body would allow. Survived by daughter Kathy, son Eric (Chris), and grandchildren Kipp and Greta. Special thanks to the loving staff at Emerald Crest Memory Care Community in Burnsville, Fairview Hospice, and devoted friends. You are the best. Visitation at 1 p.m. followed by service at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 22, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr., Burnsville, MN. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
