Obituary of Norma Branch

Norma Branch (Johnson), Age 87 August 10, 1928 ~ October 16, 2015 Preceded in death by: husband, William H. Branch; parents, Arvid and Francis Johnson and sister, Mary Lou Anderson. Survived by daughters, Connie Cloutier (Carl), Linda Jentink (Bruce), Nancy Smith (Donn), Karen Branch, and Sherrie Goral (Robert); grandchildren: Jason Cloutier (Jamie), Renee Cloutier; Frank Jentink (Linda), Ben Jentink (Stephenie), Ross Jentink (Jenni); Timothy Smith, Molly Finger (David); Eric Brunello (Caryn), Alexis Troutman (Joshua); Marley Goral and Ian Goral. Norma had 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and siblings: Gladys Jablonski, Betty (Robert) Richter, and Laverne "Sonny" (Mary) Johnson; many special family and friends. Norma was raised in Grantsburg WI, graduating from Grantsburg High. Moved to St. Paul and met her husband Bill of 63 yrs. Norma loved all their babies, from children to great-great-grandbabies. Mom always had time to lend an ear with a pinch of wisdom, slathered in love. Family time included barbecues, camping, holidays, rock hunting, cross country skiing and bird watching. Mom always said "flowers always make a girl feel better". Goodbyes always required one last smooch, which was never enough. We will miss the twinkle in her eye and those long sweet good-byes. Memorial service 11 AM Wednesday, October 21st at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S., Edina, MN 55435, 952-924-4100. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
