Obituary of Kay A. Buus

Kay A. Buus, 76, lifelong resident of Duluth, passed away from cancer Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. She was born Jan. 10, 1939 in Duluth to Ernest and Myrtle Knutsen. Kay was a 1957 graduate of Central High School and on April 26, 1958, she married Terry C. Buus. Kay was a longtime member and volunteer of First Lutheran Church but her family was her main focus. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; and a son-in-law, Tom Considine. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Terry; children, Cindy Considine, Lynn (Mark) Houle, Todd (Jody) Buus, Craig (Brenda) Buus and Scott (Jenny) Buus; 11 grandchildren; and two brothers, Dave (Kathy) Knutsen and Bruce Knutsen. The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeshore for their sincere care of Kay and her family.
