Obituary of Michael L. King

KING, Michael L., age 47, of Champlin, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2015 at North Memorial. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman & Myrtle Leisdon; Lloyd and Marie King. Michael was a devoted father and his son Richard was the greatest joy in his life. He was a car enthusiast who loved to share his passion of car repair with his son Richard and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family in need. Michael followed in the footsteps of his Grandpa King as a installer of siding and windows. He also carried with him fond memories of many fishing trips with his grandma and grandpa Leisdon. Michael was struggling with the challenges of ALS. His sudden death released him from further suffering and he is now at peace. He will be missed by his son, Richard Revak; parents, JoAnn Troland (Bill); Mike King (Donna); sisters, Kyleen Zelenak (Steve), Michelle Frost-Bahr (Kevin), Gina Bursch; step-brother, Jason Troland (Anita); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Celebration of Life 12pm (Noon) Thursday, Nov. 19 at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100) with visitation 1 hour before.
