Obituary of Peter T Jouppi

Peter T. Jouppi, 64, of Duluth, passed away Thursday Dec. 17, 2015 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family. Peter was born in Duluth, April 28, 1951 to the late John and Alice Jouppi. Peter joined the United States Army and received an Honorable discharge. He worked for Spirit Mountain Ski Hill, as a mechanic retiring after 20 years of service. Those who loved and shared his life; his life companion Barbara J. Bianchet and his two sons Peter J. (Margo) Jouppi, Richard T. (Loren) Jouppi, four brothers; John, Richard (Lori), Robert (Dorrie), David (Carol) Jouppi; one sister; Mary (Richard) Moebakken; eight grandchildren: Kyle, Alex, Austin, Trevor, Nels, Aina, Aksel, Oscar Jouppi; two great-grandchildren; Sophia, Leland Jouppi, and many nieces and nephews. Peter's family would also like to thank the Chris Jensen-Willows staff members for all of their compassionate care. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10 a.m. Tuesday Dec 22, 2015 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
