Obituary of Patrick Michael Raycraft

Pat Raycraft, 69, of Farmington, Minn., formerly of Two Harbors, died peacefully at his home on Dec. 22, 2015 with his family at his side. Born Oct. 11, 1946 to Blair and Dorothy (Murphy) Raycraft, Pat grew up in Two Harbors and graduated in 1964. On Sept. 22, 1978, Pat married Janet Nisula of Virginia, Minn. In 1981, he supported Jan in serving the U.S. Navy. During her 20 year career, Pat worked construction until the birth of their son, Logan in 1990. The family moved back to Minnesota in 2001 and settled in Farmington. Pat enjoyed old cars, especially his 1964 Chevy Nova Super Sport and participated in many car shows. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Pat is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jan and son, Logan (fianc Anna Miller); his children from a previous marriage, Tom Raycraft (Crystal Ylatupa) and Rhonda (Gary) Parson; grandson, Keith, and great-granddaughter, Katie; brothers Terry (Lulu) Raycraft, Blair (Shari) Raycraft, and Ritch (Ann) Raycraft; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral was held on Monday, Dec 28 at the Cremation Society of Minn. in St. Paul. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
