Obituary of Patricia Barbara Mitchell

Patricia Barbara (Hals) Mitchell age 66 of North Branch, passed away peacefully at her home on December 24, 2015. Survived by daughters Anne (Patrick) Lawrence and Jennifer (Jasmin) Didovic, grandchildren Andrew and Emily Lawrence and Jasmina and Edin Didovic, Fiance Robert Fredrickson. Siblings, Rick Hals, Kathleen Peterson, Terese Mudrick, Brother-in-law Frank Mitchell & Sister-in-law Susie Elsenpeter, their families and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Pat’s life will be on Thursday, December 31, 2015. 10:00am Visitation and 11:00am Mass at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, 38725 Forest Blvd., North Branch, MN. Pat was born in Minneapolis on December 9, 1949 to Keith (Ollie) and Barbara Hals. She attended and graduated from North Branch High School in 1967 and went on to MN School of Business. She married William (Bill) Mitchell in 1970 and raised their family in the home she was raised in, on the corner of Third and Elm. Pat was part owner of E.F. Hals’ Sons, Inc. She went on to co-own O’Fudge Deli & Coffee and Mitchell’s Landing. She was determined to enjoy life and share that with others. That is why so many of us were drawn to her for her ability to make people laugh and her gift of listening. She lived her life, but on her own terms. She is preceded in death by her late husband, William (Bill) Mitchell, Parents Keith H. and Barbara Hals.
