Obituary of Dalene Jo Kittelson

Dalene Jo Kittelson, 61, of Superior, passed away at her home on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015. Dalene was born in Independence, Iowa on Sept. 3, 1954 to Daniel and Elizabeth (Hunter) Parsons. She was married to Gary Kittelson on Sept. 28, 1973. More than anything Dalene loved her family and the memories they created together. She treasured the holidays along with playing games and traveling. Dalene enjoyed nurturing and tending to the many plants in her home and also wrote a book detailing the obstacles, joys and experiences of parenting. Dalene was a second mother to many. She will always be remembered for her big heart and kind and generous nature. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Brian. Dalene is survived by her husband Gary of 42 years; children, Daniel (Alyssa), Dalene "Michelle" Kittelson, DeEvelyn (Gerald) Osgan and David; seven grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Kyle, Makayla, Austin, Connor and Waylon; brother Curtis (Cindy) Parsons as well as many extended family and friends.
