Obituary of Michael Nacey

Micheal "Mike" J. Nacey Sr., 69, Went to be with our Lord on Dec. 26, 2015. Mike suffered greatly from infancy with severe chronic asthma and exema. In his last several years he came to love the Lord and showed it by his words and actions. He tried to make amends for offenses in his past. He formed a Bible study at the Seaway Hotel and opened a small retail store for religious items. He was known to give to others unselfishly. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Cheryl; brother Edward; and sisters, Betty and Mary, both of whom shared his birthday, Aug. 31. He is survived by sons Mike Jr. (Bess) and Jerry; grandchildren Heidi, Steven and Taylor; and two brothers, Pat and John. VISITATION: 2:30 until the 3 p.m. service Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the Cremation Society, 4000 W. Third St., followed by a small reception in the Seaway Hotel lobby.
