Obituary of Floyd Gene Vorel

86 years old, of Ham Lake, died on Jan. 23rd, 2016. He was the only child of Fred and Gertie Vorel, born on July 14, 1929. He married the love of his life, Donna Mae Bush, on October 13, 1951. He enjoyed being outside, taking trips and having a coffee with friends. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his love of family and his willingness to help any friend who needed it. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gertie Vorel and son in law, Joseph Michela. He is survived by 4 children, Vicky (Scott Sherin) Michela, Susan (Stephan) Thomforde, Carla (Thomas) Shannon and Thomas (Janel) Vorel; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Jan. 29th at Glen Cary Church in Ham Lake at 11 AM. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to memorial services. The family requests that all memorials be made out to Glen Cary Church.
