Obituary of Kathleen Eckerman

Kathleen Eckerman, age 63, of St. Paul, passed away on Jan 25, 2016 after a battle with cancer. She died peacefully at a family member’s home surrounded by love. Kathy was born March 24, 1952 in Mpls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Harold Eckerman. She is survived by her seven siblings, Gerald Eckerman, David (Denise) Eckerman, Dorinda (Bruce) Anderson, Janice (Fredrick) Conlan, Julie (Douglas) Larsen, Douglas (Lynette) Eckerman, and Robert (Kelly) Eckerman, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Kathy was such a special and unique person with a wonderful zest for life. She sparkled everywhere she went and had an amazing gift of connecting with everyone. Kathy loved animals, fashion, shopping, spooky movies, and homemade desserts. She brought much joy to her family and friend’s lives and will be dearly missed. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sat, Feb 20 from 2PM – 5PM at Church of the Assumption (Activities Building), 305 E 77th St., Richfield. Cremation Society of MN, 952-924-4100.
