Obituary of Judith Mary Jahr

Judith Mary Jahr, lovingly known as "Judy Jahr", "Judy, Judy, Judy", "JJ" and "Little Sister", passed away on March 21, 2016 in St. Luke's Hospice. Judy was born in Duluth on June 13, 1942 to John and Evelyn Cashin. She married her one and only as well as her best friend Earl Jahr on Aug. 18, 1962. They were married for 53 years. "6/13/42" Judy graduated from Duluth Cathedral High School in 1960. She retired from J.P. Penneys in 2002 after 24 years of service. Thank you to the special friends at Penneys. Judy was a selfless woman who always put others before herself. Family and friends were most important to her. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mike. Judy is survived by her husband Earl Jahr; son Craig; daughter Julie (Jeff) Wierimaa; grandsons, Corey (Kaili), Zackary (U.S. Marine Corps in Japan); great-granddaughter Aubrey; special baby Willow; sister Pat (Roy) Cashin Line and many nieces and nephews who are so special and loved. Special thanks to Dr. Silva, Dr. Sanford, the hospice and infusion nurses who took such good care of our girl. She is forever in our hearts.
