Obituary of Richard ‘Dick’ Thomas Powell

Richard “Dick” Thomas Powell, age 77, of Bloomington. Dick was born in Detroit Michigan. He died 3/25/16 after 4 weeks of medical complications. Dick had a lifetime career as a sales rep. for Johns Manville. He was much loved and will be missed by family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Cloyd and Violet Powell and beloved Greyhounds, Theo and Tank. Survived by wife, Rosemary; daughters, Susan and Stacey Powell; grandson, Tyler Powell; step-sons, Todd and Stephen Lunow and step-grandchildren, Dana and Patrick Lunow. Per Dick’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorials preferred to American Lung Association or Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption. Private interment.
