Marion Rice

Obituary of Marion R. Rice

Marion returned to her Spiritual Home on April 2nd, 2016 and joined countless loved ones who preceded her. She was a minister, mentor, friend, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She proudly carried the endearing title of "Grandma Bling" due to her unending sense of flash and style. Born in SLC, Utah, she was renowned for her astounding voice. She never lost the magic of her 1940's movie-star voice or the charisma of a seasoned entertainer. She carried her sense of style, flare and humor into her real calling; to inspire people to believe the light of God was shining within them and that nothing is impossible to those who believe. Marion lived for 89 years, completing her mission on this earth by touching countless lives. Her presence will continue to touch our lives every time we hear the song of a cardinal or embrace the beauty of a rose; her greatest trademark and the symbol of Divine love.
