Obituary of Richard P. ‘Dick’ Holmberg

Richard P. 'Dick' Holmberg, passed on April 3, 2016 at the age of 83. Survived by wife of 62 years, Margaret; sons, Jeff (Linda) Holmberg, David (Kathy) Holmberg, Peter (Lisa) Holmberg; grandchildren, James (Desiree) Holmberg, Anne (Zach) Bell, Jessica and Emily Holmberg and Tim Oliver; great-grandchildren, Miles and Jade; brother, Edward (Carol) Holmberg and sister, Nancy Corey. Graduated from Breck School in 1950, long time Scout Master with Troop 262. Pursued acting, appearing in numerous performances in the Twin Cities. He is perhaps best remembered as Santa at Bachman's, where he delighted families for over 20 years. Service to be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 7th at Richfield Lutheran Church, Mpls MN. Visitation starts at 10:30 AM. Memorials preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands.
