Obituary of Patricia ‘Patty’ Bjork

Patricia "Patty" Bjork, age 71, of Bloomington, died peacefully surrounded by family April 9. She was preceded in death by parents, Vernon and Eva Bjork and brother, Robert. She worked for Lutheran Brotherhood for 35 years. Patty graduated Shakopee High School and attended Mankato State. Patty was active in Mpls. Police band for over 25 years. She battled cancer for over 5 years and her music and her band-mates sustained her. Patty is survived by brothers, Bill Bjork (Deborah), Jon Bjork (LuAnn). A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, April 14 at 6:00 pm, Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave, South, Edina.
