Obituary of Edna K. Hage

Edna K. Hage, 92, of Cloquet, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Essentia Health Care surrounded by her family. Edna was born in Meadowlands, to the late John and Edla Anderson. She was a graduate of Meadowlands High School and attended Hibbing Junior College. She married Francis "Barney" Hage, and he preceded her in death. Edna and Barney liked to travel and spent winters in the sunny south. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved children and always offered a word of encouragement. Her positive attitude and love of fun were contagious. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. She is survived by three sons: Douglas, Payton (Judy), and Scott (Luanne) Hage; one daughter, Bonnie (Kevin) Douglas Popovich; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3 p.m. April 23, 2016, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth. A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 p.m. until the time of service in the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
