Obituary of Barbara K. Budroe Nehrbass

96, of Saint Paul, died peacefully on April 20, 2016. Born and raised in Detroit, she moved to Minnesota after WWII with her husband William Budroe. They settled in Richfield, where she raised 4 children while working at Dayton’s selling children’s shoes. Barbara maintained a strong Catholic faith and was a talented artist her entire life. She was enriched by everyone she met and loved. Survived by children, Lynne (Jan) Gasterland, Bill (Kelly) Budroe, Mary (Scott) Neiman, Anne (John) Benda; grandchildren, Gretchen (Micke), Pieter (Jill), Danielle, David, Erin, Josh (Katie), Peter, Libby; great granddaughters, Emma, Grace, Natalie, Lilly, Audrey, Ellie, Adalynn; nieces, nephews and also those to whom she was a second mother. Funeral Mass at Cerenity Marian Chapel, 200 Earl St, Saint Paul, 55106, Saturday April 30 at 11:00 am. Visitation at Cerenity Marian Chapel, Friday April 29, 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, and one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to Cerenity Marian of St. Paul or Minnesota Literacy Council.
