I am so glad and honored that I got to meet Ken several times over the past few years. His kindness, wit, humor, and generosity of spirit are what I will remember most. I'm grateful for the way he welcomed me into the family. He was a truly beautiful human being and will be sorely missed.

We will miss Ken so much. A large hole is left and I feel it will remain empty. As Ken’s sister-in-law my family spent many summers at the Hills.!! Great memories of both Fond-du-lac and Ripen. Ken and Sue were so loving and kind. Best memories during the summers were when we all spent time at McLain State Park, in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Swimming, hiking, eating at The Jam Pot, a favorite breakfast place in Houghton, and the big cinnamon buns at the Hilltop in L’Ance. We even managed to get Ken to play the board game Pretty, Pretty, Princess.
It was Thelma and Fred’s love of camping that created this special place for both of our families. Sue and Ken continued the tradition and enjoyed it for many more years.
Cheers Ken!
Love Jamie
