Obituary of Carol Ann Malm

Carol Ann Malm passed away at her home in Minneapolis on October 24, 2024.  She was 62.

Carol was born November 11, 1961 at Alfred and Geraldine (Carlin) Malm in Mound, MN. She grew up in Brook Park and attended Pine City High School.  Carol wintered in Las Vegas with her parents until the death of her father, May 1989. She and her mother returned to Minnesota. In 1990 Carol moved in with her sister Sharon and family. Sharon passed away December 30, 2019. On April 21, 2022 Carol moved into the Dungarvin Group Home, Minneapolis.

Carol loved family, traveling, games, TV, crafts, and coloring. She especially loved Special Olympics where she won trophies, medals and ribbons in track.  She also enjoyed softball, soccer, and her favorite, basketball.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Geraldine Malm, brothers Thomas and Richard, and sister Sharon Torseth.

Carol is survived by her brothers William (Mary), Alvin (JoAnn), Carl and sister Susan (Michael) Lakeberg as well as several nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
