Obituary of Lois M. Rookey

Lois M. Rookey, 89, of Duluth, passed away on April 21, 2016. Lois was born in Superior, on Nov. 21, 1926, to Oscar and Marie (Urban) Sundin. Lois was full of life and loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rookey; former husband and the father of her children, Robert Miller; her parents; brother, Thomas Sundin; and significant other, Vern Backlund. Lois is survived by her children, Duane (Carolyn) Miller, Larry (Virginia) Miller, Steve (Mary) Miller and Gwen (Jim) Stabe; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as extended relatives and friends.
