Obituary of Bruce S Olson

Bruce Scott Olson, aged 69, passed away on October 27th, 2024, in the arms of his wife in New Hope, MN. Born on May 18th, 1955, Bruce spent his career as a dedicated Tool and Die Maker at Honeywell, where he was deeply respected for his precision and expertise.

Bruce’s life was enriched by his hobbies, which included golf, solving crossword puzzles (in ink!) and fishing. These activities brought him much joy and relaxation. These interests reflected his calm and focused demeanor, traits that were greatly appreciated by all who knew him.

He leaves behind a loving family: his wife Cindy; son David and daughter-in-law Natasha; stepchildren Kathy, Colleen and Jackie and son-in-law Ray; his most precious grandchildren Alex, Kaden, Bella, David (DJ) and Emma. His siblings Donna, Barbara and Cindy. Bruce is preceded in death by his stepson Scott and grandson Sean.

Bruce’s family and friends will deeply miss his quiet, gentle soul and steadfast presence. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.

Celebration of Life will be December 5th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 8701 36th Ave N, New Hope, MN 55427. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, Service at 11:00 AM followed by luncheon at 12:00 PM.
