Obituary of Peggy Ann Karnuth

Peggy Ann Karnuth, 93, passed away peacefully and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on October 19, 2024, at her home in Maplewood, Minnesota.

She was born on June 17, 1931, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Peggy worked for many years for the Athletic Department at Harding High School in St. Paul. She was an active member of the congregation of Beaver Lake Lutheran Church of Maplewood. She kept a beautiful garden, and enjoyed watching the deer and rabbits and feeding the birds in her backyard. Peggy loved spending time with her family, especially at the family cabin in Wisconsin.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Myrtle Squire, her sister, Jean Goodwin, and by her husband, Kenneth Albert Karnuth.

Peggy is survived by her five children: Yvonne (Mike), Diane (Dwight), Janis (Jack), Sharon, & David (Karen); and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 9 at Beaver Lake Lutheran Church, 2280 Stillwater Avenue East, Maplewood, Minnesota. Visitation is from 9:00-11:00 AM; memorial service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, Peggy requested memorial gifts be made to Beaver Lake Lutheran Church (Outreach or Enduring Gifts Foundation).
