Obituary of Rachel Agape Quaday
Rachel Agape Quaday, age 32, of St. Paul, passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2024.
Rachel was born in St. Paul, MN on November 22, 1991. She graduated from Mahtomedi High School and studied Wildlife Management and Conservation Biology at the University of Minnesota.
Rachel loved people and animals. She went to Borneo to study animals and did an internship at the Minnesota Zoo. Her jobs mostly focused on animal care and retail. Rachel volunteered at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota. She also had a passion for the outdoors and helping others. She loved playing with her sober softball team as well as volleyball.
Rachel is survived by her parents, Jim and Karen Quaday, her brother Nico, his wife Alyssa and nephew Arlo, her grandmother, Phyllis Stratis, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends all who loved her deeply.
The Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday November 22, 2024 at Como Zoo in the Auditorium 3:00-6:00 pm. A short program will start at 4:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota.
