I was shocked to just read of Mark's. Passing. I attended Horace Mann Elementary with him in Fargo, Dakota. He was the sweetest guy. In sixth grade we were both in sixth grade in Mrs Hovedestad's room. She was one tough teacher and didn't mind taking out her frustration on us. Mark always held his head high and set an example for being resilient. I don't know what happened after that in schools and life, but I will NEVER forget Mark!
