Obituary of Marilyn Louise Marty

Marilyn Louise Marty

April 17, 1942- August 24, 2024 

My darling wife, age 82, passed away August 24, 2024, at home after a short battle of neuroendocrine cancer. She prayed with God each day as he kept her with no pain.  

She enjoyed socializing with friends, vacationing/cruises with her husband and traveling between her Arizona home and her Wisconsin lake home. She loved to spend time with her family and watch her grandchildren in various activities. She was loved and gave love to many friends and family.  

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Lousie Madsen. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom. Brother Robert Madsen (Joanne); daughters Cheryl Watson (Bryan), Julie Vandenbrook (Chuck) and Beth Coleman (Thomas); grandchildren: Kyle and Kailey Watson, Michael (Amy) and Elizabeth Vandenbrook, and Audrey and Tyler Coleman. 

Service will be held at Cremation Society of Minnesota- Edina on September 13th at 12:00pm with a refreshments following. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm.  

Private Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. 

Memorials preferred to Bundles of Love Charity.
