Obituary of Carmen Maria De La Hoz

Carmen Maria De La Hoz, age 59, of Mpls, passed away April 28 after a courageous battle with ALS. A dedicated wife, mother and social worker, she touched many lives deeply. Survived by husband, Terry Meersman and son Nico of Eden Prairie, MN; mother Carmen Teresa and brother Rafael in New York; and brother Nicolas (Fabiola) and niece Maria Paz in Bogota, Colombia. Visitation May 20 at 10 am followed by funeral service at 11 am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 3rd Avenue S., Mpls. Memorials preferred to ALS Association of Minnesota and North Dakota.
