Obituary of Patricia Rae Myhre
It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Myhre on August 4, 2024 at the age of 77. She passed peacefully in her home with her loving family by her side.
Patti was a lifelong resident of Superior, Wisconsin. She worked for several years in various positions in the hotel industry before retiring from the Holiday Inn Express. She was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and other Wisconsin sports teams. She enjoyed watching true crime TV along with game shows. Spending time with family gave her the most joy, especially going out to dinner and enjoying a happy hour or two. She had a love for music and, in her younger years, was known to have a wonderful singing voice. Patti had a giving heart, donating to many causes, especially children’s causes.
Patti is survived by her daughter - Deanna Rose (Murray), Zeeland, MI; her son - Vincent Dyleski, Superior, WI; Grandchildren - Tara Rose, Zeeland, MI and Devin Rose (Katelyn), Allendale, MI; great grand daughter - Kuyper Rose; sister - Gloria Homich, Superior, WI; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband - Arthur (Sam) Myhre; mother - Helen Jedlicka (Satter); father - Allan McDonald; brothers - Gerald, Archie, Marland, and twin brother Michael McDonald; sister - Arlene Gonser; and beloved pets - Ruby and Yuki. Special thank you to the awesome hospice staff, especially her case manager/nurse, Jeanne Glinski, who went above and beyond for the last nine months to make this transition easier for Patti, as well as the family members who cared for her in her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Ace’s, 2827 Oaks Avenue, Superior, WI 54880 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Essentia Hospice or any children’s charity.
