Obituary of Connie Marie Hauber

Connie Marie Bohan was born in Faribault on November 24, 1945. She passed away peacefully in Roseville, MN on August 2, 2024.

Her parents were Dr. Wayne. A. & Evelyn (Goben) Bohan. The whole Bohan family went to the Methodist church in Kenyon, MN. She went to school in Kenyon & graduated from Kenyon High School in 1963.

She was united in marriage to William Sammons in 1965 and later divorced in 1976 with whom she shared her 2 children, April and Scot. In 1990, she found the love of her life and married Dr. Stephen Hauber, DSS in 2000.

Connie went to school in Portland, Oregon, and became a hairdresser. Later, she worked to obtain her Associates Degree from Inver Hills Community College. She worked as a registrar at several community colleges in the Twin Cities and enjoyed working with students.

Connie loved her family dearly. She retired in 2010 to take care of her only grandson Owen. Her grandchildren, Owen, and Megan, were the light of her life. Connie enjoyed watching Viking football, PGA golf, reading mysteries, enjoying her Manhattans, and staying busy with her many wonderful girlfriends. Connie will be remembered for her love of Christmas, celebrating birthdays, and being a kind and caring soul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Scot, and her husband Stephen.

She is survived by her daughter, April (Guy) Neske, grandson, Owen Neske, granddaughter Megan Morales, sisters: Wanda Bohan, Barbara Davis, and Pat Bohan, brother, Larry (Roxie) Bohan, uncle, Chris Shelvik of Tigard, OR, and a niece & several nephews.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Cremation Society of MN. Celebration of life will be held at MN Cremation Society St. Paul Chapel 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55119 on October 18, 2024. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. Service begins at 2:00 pm. A private family burial will take place before the service at Incarnation Lutheran Cemetery in North Oaks, MN.

Memorials are preferred to Animal Humane Society or any animal rescue group in her memory.
