Obituary of June Beverly Lopez
June Beverly Lane Lopez was born in Monclo, West Virginia on February 26, 1939 to Della Mae Brown and Thomas Ezra Lane.
She was the youngest of 13 children. In her childhood she loved to go sledding, playing marble with her brothers, riding bike and swimming. She loved to sneak away with her girlfriends to go dancing.
She married her husband Basilio and were together for 36 years. They made their home in Laredo. They had 5 children together. June enjoyed her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Loteria. She loved her soap operas, game shows and scary movies. She was a big Vikings and Twins fan.
June is survived by her children Ana (Julio) Valdez, Nora (Mark) Re, Rolando (Mary) Lopez, Della (Alfonso Ochoa) Garcia, Christina (Homero) Lopez; brother, Bobby Lane. She had 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Clarence, Willie, Bernice, Earl, Charles, Arnold, Ezra Jr., Beulah, Ruby, Doris, Betty and Gordon.
Mom will surely be missed and is finally resting and has gone to be with the Lord.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9th at the Cremation Society of Minnesota on 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., Minneapolis, Minnesota from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with lunch to follow.
