Obituary of Pamela and John Kolodziejski

John Kolodziejski, born February 18, 1955 and passed away June 23, 2024

John Leo Kolodziejski, 69, of Woodbury, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 23, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; daughter, Christine (Brad) Vos; son, Richard (Cindy) Kolodziejski; and sister, Susan (Kent) Gulbrandson. He is survived by four grandchildren: Mindy and Nicholas Kolodziejski and Hunter and Tyler Vos, whom he loved dearly. John was also survived by two step-brothers, Jon (Nancy) Paulson and Dan (Jo Hannah) Paulson.

John was proceeded in death by his parents, Katherine (Vernon) Paulson and Leo Kolodziejski.

John could be best described as someone who would always find time to help others. He was very family oriented, and always reserved Sunday’s for family his entire life. He also loved attending his grandkid’s sporting events, going on annual fishing trips and dining out with friends and family. He never passed up an opportunity for good barbeque and a good glass of whiskey.

To all his clients and coworkers, he truly viewed you as extended family. Each of you played an integral role in his life. He was thankful for the relationships he had with each of you.

Pamela Kolodziejski, born April 1, 1955 and passed away July 24, 2024

She is survived by mother, Ruth Baumann; daughter, Christine (Brad) Vos; son, Richard (Cindy) Kolodziejski; and sisters, Kathleen (Bud) Jones, Lori Baumann, Jeanne (Kevin) McNerney. She is survived by four grandchildren: Mindy and Nicholas Kolodziejski and Hunter and Tyler Vos, whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded by her father, Richard Baumann and brother, Thomas Baumann.

Pam was gifted with a creative ability for quilting, sewing and string crafts. She enjoyed attending annual quilting retreats with her daughter and friends. She loved her wine and was even known to sneak it into dry events on occasions.

She cherished all the opportunity she had to spend time with her grandchildren including sporting events, school programs and being their general taxi driver. Pam enjoyed fishing and recently found a great love in going on an annual fishing trip to Lake of the Woods. She was a stickler for fishing rules including no beer until you caught a fish.

She had succumb to a long battle to multiple types of cancers. She demonstrated unwavering strength throughout her life in enduring more complications than any one person should ever experience.

Their Life Together

John and Pam nearly completed their 52nd year of marriage. Married at a young age, they set a great example of what it truly meant to be a family. Even in difficult times, family came first.
