Obituary of Thomas L. Cherro
Thomas L Cherro “TC” 57, of Proctor, MN died tragically in a motorcycle accident on July 20th, 2024, in Willow River, MN.
He was born on September 29, 1966, in Virginia, Minnesota to Beverly (Palokangas) Cherro and Leon Cherro. He was raised in Aurora, MN having graduated from Mesabi East High School in 1985. He spent the early years of his adult life working in the construction field working for Klassic Constructors. In 1994 he married the love of his life Cindy Myhre, and together they raised their family in Proctor. In 2006 he started working for the State of MN Dept of Human Services in security at MSOP, retiring in 2020.
He is preceded in death by his parents Beverly, Leon, and his brother Tim Cherro, and Mother-in-law Barbara.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, Son, Michael (Heather), his three daughters, Kaylee (Cole), Hannah, and Hope (Tyler) and 6 grandchildren who he absolutely adored, Aiden, Gabriella, Mason, Donovan, Ja’Kari and Gia Rosella.
Also survived by his sister Mary Cherro, sister-in-law Linda Myhre (Andy) brother-in-law Dennis (Nancy) and countless other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces and lifelong best friends, Chris (Sheila), Jeff (Lisa) and Dean (Alli). We cannot forget his fur babies “Pisan”, “Sasha” and “Kyah” He will be painfully missed by all of us forever.
His Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at the Buffalo House Junction Event Center, 2590 Guss Road in Duluth, MN on Thursday August 15th, 2024, at 4pm.
