Obituary of Mary Margaret Abbey

Mary Margaret Abbey, age of 73, passed away on July 10, 2024, in St. Louis Park, MN.

Mary was born in Lawrence, KS to Wallace W. Abbey III and Martha J. Abbey.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Steven Brown; daughter, Sarah Brown (Stephen Lazzaro) of Boston, MA; grandson Raphael Lazzaro-Brown; sister, Martha Lu Miller of Prescott, AZ, and aunt, Genevieve Carter (Jack) of Olatha, KS. 

Mary graduated from Minneapolis Washburn High School in 1969 and the University of Minnesota in 1974. After a 30 plus year career at Lutheran Brotherhood/Thrivent Financial in Minneapolis she had a variety of roles as a management consultant. 

Celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
