I met the family prior to starting Kindergarten, when I met Linda and Stan's daughter, Heidi (my life-long friend). Linda was like a 2nd mom to me while growing up. She always made me feel loved and welcomed in the home no matter if I was there for a quick visit or for any of the many sleepovers I had with Heidi. I even remember the day she introduced me to flour tortillas while making soft shell tacos, and having many breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with Heidi and Chad.
She was always there in the audience, cheering us/the kids on at all of our school events, from the Kindergarten Easter Parade to dance performances, and continued to cheer on athletes at local sporting events, even after we graduated. Her dedicated presence was a source of comfort and support.
I will remember Linda's smile, voice, laughter, and spunky personality the most, all with fondness and a smile. Sending peace, love & light to Stan, Heidi & Sam and family, and to the many other family and friends of Linda.
